Susan Gough of Defense Press Operations moderated the invitation-only press conference. Anyone who knows of Susan Gough’s actions up to now can bet her presence at the meeting was a clear signal that not much would be changing at the Pentagon on the treatment of this topic. She was LTC Susan Gough and wrote several papers on psyops.
This presser followed the preceding day’s Senate passage of the 2023 NDAA that includes language on UAP headed to President Biden’s desk for signature. There is still no report pushed out by DNI that was due no later than October 31, 2022.
While the NDAA is a good step in the forward direction, it should have contained more protection for whistleblowers and additional push for disclosure. Congress has been largely left out of this issue since the 1940s. The Executive Office with the Pentagon under it needs to wake up and face the fact people are tired of secrecy and outright lies to the American people and people of this planet.
